About Us

 

2Friends 2Farms is a growing network of farms whose communitive goal is to help, support and mentor each other.

 

It was founded by Lisa Hertan of Island Overlook Farms and Stacy Heydt of White River  Alpacas, LLC—2 friends with very different backgrounds of expertise yet with a common goal—to help new farms get started and flourish in the alpaca business.

 

Both farms are dedicated in creating friends, not just customers.  We believe in educating our customers, by helping them define their goals, creating a plan then finding alpacas that fit those needs.

 

And by working together, our customers have more than one farm to choose from.  We carry different genetics, but the same quality of animals and support. 

 

We are a “package deal”.  So when you buy from one of us, you get the support and expertise from both farms.

 

PLUS, we support our customers by helping them market animals that they have purchased from either farm!  Like we said, it’s a network of farms and friends!
