Creating Pictures with Yarn

If you love to weave, but can’t draw a stick figure, you can still create beautiful weavings.  We’ll show you our little secrets!

 

Tapestry Weaving has its own terminology and techniques, but mostly it’s about creating a picture or design.  It can be  primitive or intricate, but is normally used as decorative rather than functional. 

 

You will learn the techniques by weaving a sampler, then go on to create your own design.
